This space has evolved over time from being an attic space in 1999 to an office. While initial years of Studio architecture (2003-2006) were spent in an attic of a shop, between 2006-2008 was operated from a 1 BHK Apartment near Andheri Sports Complex (another project of compact design space) and then a brief period in a rental space in Kandivali. Finally, a long term decision of refurbishing the attic space was taken. In the first phase bamboos were used for the roofing and side walls. In phase II most of the existing bamboo was recycled as an inner lining to the metal roof. The timber was recycled from discarded doors/windows.
