This project was designed as a part of SPCMG (Shapoorji Pallonji Co.) Headquarters for L’Oreal, India was being shifted to Peninsula Corporate Park. The floor plate is a square with central atrium. Thus natural day lighting is along the periphery (Curtain glazing) and the glass roofed atrium. The initial brief of an open office plan was realized to be inappropriate and was replaced by a scheme showing departments of various brands, Research areas, Salon training areas, utility areas etc. connected by a “Street”. A predominantly white scheme which provides backdrop for L’Oreal images is warmed by use of light wood door/ window openings and furniture.
