What happens when concrete “jalis“ wear off over time, same having been replaced by AL. windows and yet others replaced by masonry. Apart from the material wear and tear, the design itself had not fully served the purpose of keeping the rain out.

With contemporary advances in concrete & GRC technologies as well as moulding techniques, it became possible to develop and present a design which – “kept the rain away” & “kept the pigeons away” while allowing for cross ventilation.
